Justin Houcek

Justin is 58 and was diagnosed on the Autism Spectrum ( HFA/Asperger’s) late in life at the age of 46. An eye opening experience that explained so many prior behaviors in his life. His diagnosis and the understanding of it brought about a passion he had never felt before. 

In 2019 Justin founded ASDWITHME LLC a for profit small business determined to advocate for, mentor, consult and guide those on the Autism Spectrum and their families. Justin has helped multiple families have a better understanding and a happier more productive life.

Justin initially started his work through watching law enforcement interact with those on the Spectrum at traffic stops. The lack of information, lack of training was evident and he noticed a gap in the preparedness of the law enforcement officer as they approached the stopped vehicle. That caused Justin to create ID VISIBLE a card/decal system for a person who has an invisible disability to have on and in their car for traffic stops. Justin has sold hundreds to law enforcement throughout Chicagoland and in Wisconsin.

Justin is a Partners in Policymaking graduate and currently services on the IATF (Illinois Autism Task Force), serves a member of the CESSA SAC (Statewide Advisory Committee), is a member of The Arc of Illinois and currently is a disability advisor for his Illinois State Senator.
