Disability Leadership Summit

Join Us for the First Ever Disability Leadership Summit on January 23, 9:00 am - 1:00 pm CST and January 24, 9:00 am - 1:00 pm CST

Be part of a learning-and-doing network of disabled professionals working in industry and public service. The Disability Leadership Summit is a virtual conference of two half days, 9:00 am CST to 1:00 pm CST, designed to support disabled professionals from across the U.S. who are engaged in their workplace disability-focused affinity group. The Summit is designed to support established and emerging leaders with disabilities in corporate and public service organizations through collaborative and innovative dialogue on such topics as Employee Resource Groups (ERG) / Business Resource Groups (BRG), mentoring, leadership pathways and creating inclusive environments.

The Disability Leadership Summit will pair meaningful connections with practical learnings. You’ll experience:

• Inspiring keynotes who are themselves disabled leaders in their organizations
• Practical suggestions for developing your direction as a leader
• Interactive discussions on such topics as Employee Resource Groups (ERG)/Business Resource Groups (BRG),leadership pathways, and creating inclusive work environments
• Networking with other emerging and established leaders with disabilities, along with allies in senior corporate and public service roles

Fee

We hope you can join us for the full two days, but if not, we are offering two different registration options:

• One-day registration - $100. This allows access to either day of the Summit. You'll select which day you're attending while registering.
• Two-day registration -$150. This allows access to both days of the Summit.

We are offering discount codes to our sponsors and Network. If you believe you should have a code, please contact Anne Renna.

Experience

To help plan your experience and to help us deliver effective sessions, please review this information about options for interaction with other participants during the Summit and include your preference in your registration form.

Summit sessions offer three levels of interactivity:

1. Low interaction: Presentations
2. Medium interaction: Panels and sessions involving some discussion using voice and text, as well as breakout rooms
3. High interaction: Workshop-style sessions using voice, text, breakout rooms, and shared documents

You are welcome to participate in whichever level is comfortable for you. All medium and high interaction sessions will include at least one facilitator and one technical support professional, whose job is to support access and troubleshoot if needed.

Accommodations

ASL interpretation and live captioning (with a streaming link option) will be provided. Additional accommodation requests can be submitted via RSVP.
