Andrew Webb is a former Equal Justice Works ADA 25 Fellow, sponsored by McDermott Will and Emery. 

Andrew recently took a pause from his attorney career to begin a management position with the State of Illinois. He is now the Chief of the DRS Bureau of Customer and Community Blind Services within the Illinois Department of Human Services, Division of Rehabilitation Services. In his role, Andrew directs the state's Vocational Rehabilitation Services program for individuals who are blind, low vision and DeafBlind, Overseeing a staff of 100+ statewide. He assists in analyzing, formulating, and developing Agency policies and programs, including drafting and monitoring proposed legislation and establishing operating goals and benchmarks for the Bureau to improve service delivery. As a person with an adult-onset visual disabilityAndrew is passionate about the need for good vocational rehabilitation options for people with disabilities and is delighted to have started in his new position.

Before his role at the State of Illinois, Andrew was a Staff Attorney at Equip For Equality, where he focused primarily on providing education and representation to improve access to health care and related services for Illinois residents with disabilities. Andrew earned a J.D. from The University of Chicago and a B.S. in Foreign Service from Georgetown University.
