Outside of championing equitable opportunities for Black and Brown professionals, Michelle is a fierce advocate for people diagnosed with chronic diseases, specifically endometriosis. Driven by her own diagnosis, she created Fighting Fiercely, a movement designed to empower people to become proactive participants in their health and wellness management. A leader in the endometriosis and chronic illness communities, her passion for raising awareness extends to her roles as a Patient Ambassador with the Chronic Disease Coalition and as a Community Advisory Board member with Illinois Contraceptive Access Now (ICAN), helping to de-silo, de-stigmatize, and normalize birth control as basic health care.
