Tayler Mathews

Tayler (she/her) is a Policy Associate at the Chicago Alliance Against Sexual Exploitation (CAASE). Her background in feminist theory and politics informs her research and legislative role. She advocates for survivors from a gender, race, and disability justice lens. Tayler completed her BA at Augustana College. She earned her MA in sociology and PhD in political science from Clark Atlanta University. As a graduate student, Tayler advocated for gender equity and organized against sexual harm and LGBTQ discrimination at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). She has participated in several local and national gender justice and survivor-centered organizations.
